AEO certified as a customs agent in the UK, France, Ireland, NI and Germany, we are seeking a dedicated **Customs Agent** to join our established customs team.

**Please note**:
**This position has a rotating shift pattern: Monday - Friday, Week 1: 07:00 - 16:00, week 2: 08:30 - 17:30, week 3: 10:00 - 19:00.**

**Main duties**:

- Co-ordinating Import and Export
- Conforming to HM Revenue & Customs regulations
- Ensuring all HM Revenue & Customs duty liabilities are fulfilled
- Liaising with, customers, suppliers, necessary agents, and customs authorities
- Raising necessary paperwork concerning all movements of Dangerous Goods

**Skills required for this role**:
**Essential**:

- At least 1 years’ experience working in Exports/Imports & Customs Compliance
- Understanding of UK & EU imports customs requirements

**Desirable**:

- Experience using Customs systems (e.g. CDS, CNS, Destin 8, Sequoia)
- Proven ability to deal with customs procedure codes and specialist customs procedures, including CFSP and Transit
- Institute of Export “Level 4 Customs Practitioner Award” or equivalent
- Experience in road transport, logistics or haulage

Pay: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
