**JOB PURPOSE**

**This role is an exciting opportunity to join the UK & Ireland (UK&I) Incubator Hub and be a leader in developing the new Digital Commerce (D-Comm) Operations whilst ensuring excellent execution of the new digital-sales operations. Together with another colleague, you will be a responsible for end-to-end supply chain operations within the D-Comm Retail Operations Unit. You will work with logistics, fulfilment centre and agency partners, as well as the core Unilever operations in supply chain, finance and IT, to launch new routes to market and to bring new formats, new brands and new portfolios to our online consumers.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- The operations of the D-Comm fulfilment centre, including monitoring performance to service level agreements, problem-solving and issue-investigation
- Represent the supply chain D-Comm operations in BU’s D-Comm innovation project team(s)Act as the procurement lead for the D-Comm operations Retail Business Unit, including leading tender processes, negotiations and contracting for new suppliers
- Leading negotiations for contract extensions or terminations as appropriate
- Be Supply Chain business partner to D-Comm BU operations and Sales teams
- Responsible for setting up new channel capabilities (e.g. web shops, social commerce and marketplace stores)
- Responsible to ensure customer service/customer experience & logistics fulfilment on E-comm platforms are delivered in accordance with commercial expectation

**ALL ABOUT YOU**
- Supply Chain Planning, Customer Service, Logistics and/or Procurement background, with practical product and process knowledge.
- Deep understanding of DTC/B2C e-comm model requirements on the UK market
- Keen to operate and learn across the End-to-End Supply Chain as well as get to grips with Finance and Accounting controls and practices.
- Experience of working, developing new relationships and contracting with partner companies (suppliers or customers).
- Understand product and operational quality and safety.
- Understanding of SC & finance operational/ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite or SAP)
- Able to demonstrate good project management skills.
- Team-player who has experience working with multi-functional teams. You can hold others accountable, whilst not being afraid to roll-up your own sleeves and getting stuff done yourself.
- Not afraid of operating in ambiguity and have an agile mindset towards changing priorities and wants to learn.
- Can develop process, procedure, and ways of working as you go (you don’t need to know every step of the route in order to begin the journey)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Prepared to challenge the status-quo and bring an entrepreneurial mindset to try things in a different way. Where they succeed you replicate and roll-out. Where they fail you can walk-away with some learnings.

**Location**

In September 2020, Unilever announced the intention to build a new sustainable campus site in Kingston, London to house the employees who currently work in 100 Victoria Embankment in Blackfriars, Lever House in Kingston, Unilever House in Leatherhead and Graze in Richmond. We are creating our own Unilever sustainable, agile work environment, purposefully bringing us together in our own Unilever ecosystem. The campus is due to be completed in early 2025 and will consist of two interconnected buildings, as well as landscaped surrounding areas.
