Sky Occupational Health are responsible for the delivery of a clinical service and provision of expert medical advice and guidance and support to our 26,000 employees, managers and leaders in the UK and Ireland. Based in Osterley and Livingston, we work closely with all areas of the business including Sky News and Sky Sports. This role will provide specialist administrative support to help co-ordinate the delivery of an Occupational Health service to Sky.
What you’ll do:
- First point of contact for all enquiries and referrals into Occupational Health
- Appointment/diary management, booking referral appointments and reviews. In addition to this OH support other departments with appointments related to field-based Engineers, Audios, Night Workers, Working at Heights and Hostile Environment Medicals.
- Interacting with a range of people, who may be dealing with a difficult situation
- Issuing reports to employees and managers following their appointments and any follow up documents required such as consent forms
- Requesting, following up and obtain GP/specialist reports and scanning and uploading clinical documents to the OH medical record management system (eOPAS).
- Deliver all requests for information held in the OH medical records in line with processes and procedures in place to maintain medical confidentiality. Processing requests from individual employees, Sky Data Protection department and People Advice (HR). While maintaining medical confidentiality.
- Processing payment of invoices for our suppliers and GP/Specialists reports.
- Provision of administrative support to the OH team, to ensure an effective OH service to Sky.
What you’ll bring:
Excellent communication skills so can effectively communicate with a variety of people, often in difficult situations, Key stakeholders across all areas of Sky and work within Sky OH team some of whom are based in Scotland.
- Attention to detail, awareness of data protection requirements and ability to maintain medical confidentiality.
- A flexible attitude with an eagerness to learn and continuously improve our processes and ways of working
- A self-starter with a positive can-do attitude and a desire to help the whole team be successful
- Ability to use or learn various systems including:
- MS Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- OH Medical records and case management system (eOPAS).
- ARIBA Billing systems
