**Team Leader - North Somerset Community Connect**

**£34,753 per annum + benefits | Weston-Super-Mare | Full Time**

This hands-on team leader role puts you at the heart of our person-centred social prescribing service. Managing a dedicated team of 5 experienced wellbeing professionals, you'll ensure we continue delivering the high-quality support that commissioners and customers love us for.

You'll split your time between day-to-day operational management, hands-on team coaching, and vital relationship building with commissioners and community partners across North Somerset.

**What you'll be doing**
- Managing, coaching and developing a team of 5 wellbeing workers, village agents and community development coordinators
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with commissioners, GPs, and statutory agencies across North Somerset
- Ensuring contract compliance and delivery of excellent outcomes that secure our service's future
- Managing performance and supporting your team to deliver tailored, person-centred support
- Representing Curo at partnership meetings and community events
- Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators to demonstrate impact
- Coordinating resources to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across East and West North Somerset
- Working flexibly across North Somerset communities, with Weston-Super-Mare as your hub
- Being visible in communities rather than office-based - meeting partners, supporting your team, and ensuring we remain embedded in local areas from Portishead to Clevedon and beyond
- Supporting service development and expansion opportunities where appropriate

**More about you**

We're looking for a hands-on team leader who understands the power of community connection. You'll bring solid people management skills and experience of working in care, support or community environments.

Essential:

- Experience managing teams in customer service or care environments or a natural ability to motivate and inspire others, with potential to develop into a strong leader
- Understanding of quality assurance frameworks and contract compliance
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
- Experience working in supported housing, social care or community settings
- Excellent communication skills for representing Curo with commissioners and partners
- Full driving licence and access to transport for community-based working
- Ability to work flexibly across North Somerset communities

Desirable:

- Knowledge of social prescribing or wellbeing services
- Experience of performance management and improvement
- Understanding of safeguarding practices and legislation
