_Would you like a role supporting the mental health of children? Do you want to help vulnerable young people through the school day? Do you want experience working with trauma, mental health and behavioural challenges?_
A friendly Specialist School for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Needs is looking for a Teaching Assistant in Thame to support their pupils through the school day. The students in this Specialist Mental Health School range from 6to 18 and all have significant anxiety, trauma, OCD, emotional needs and behavioural challenges and therefore need a Mental Health Assistant who is caring, understanding and ready to support young people.
This Mental Health School is a place where no two days are the same. You will helpmake the classroom and a fun, exciting and safe environment for all the pupils, and help spark a love of learning in each pupil.
This is an unmissable opportunity for anyone wanting to gain experience in the mental health sector before going on to become a Therapist, Counsellor or Psychologist.
