**WHAT TO EXPECT**

The position is highly diverse and you will get the chance to travel oversees, and covers all aspects of wind noise, including form noise development, defining specifications for attenuation materials, and static and dynamic vehicle sealing. You will be involved from early concept development, through the prototype build and test phase and into manufacturing and launch.

**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities**
- Lead full-scale wind tunnel testing abroad and other development activities/drives in the UK
- Work with Design and Engineering to balance aerodynamic, aeroacoustics and water/dirt management attributes within the aerodynamics group
- Run virtual simulations to predict attribute performance of early design surfaces and use this to guide the design of future Jaguar Land Rover vehicle lines
- Deliver technical recommendations and reports in support of vehicle programmes and ensure all technical issues are identified, tracked and resolved
- Assess detailed component and system designs as they develop, working with component engineers to ensure attribute standards are met

**WHAT YOU WILL NEED**

Essential
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience in aerodynamic development, including testing in wind tunnels or using CFD
- Experience in acoustic development and measurement
- Experience in vehicle testing and assessment
- Experience in automotive component development

Desirable
- CAD experience
- PowerFLOW experience
- Awareness/use of CF and SEA
- University degree or equivalent
