**Role Title**:Director - Head of Talent Acquisition Coverage - Technology***

**Location**:Glasgow, Scotland

**What will you be doing**:
Reporting to the Global Head of BX Talent Acquisition Coverage the role holder is responsible for building and overseeing delivery of a coherent Talent Acquisition strategy for Group Technology within the BX legal entity.

This is a highly visible role, and the role holder will need to be able to share and display an understanding of commercial value and an in-depth knowledge of the business areas they are partnering with, as well as acting as an ambassador for Barclays Talent Acquisition internally and externally.

**Key Accountabilities**

Hiring Strategy
- Through development of close working relationships with senior Technology leaders and HR colleagues, the role holder will build an in-depth understanding of current and future talent requirements of the business
- Through expert knowledge and the use of data insights of both the internal and external market the role holder will partner with the relevant sub-service to design, develop and oversee appropriate delivery of a TA strategy. Delivery of the service will be via the respective sub-services
- The role holder will be required to collaborate with multiple business stakeholders to understand operational aspects of the business/legal entity in scope from workforce planning through to business specific operational practises enabling the role holder to shape and implement an appropriate operational plan; ensuring delivery of hiring needs through various hiring channels, achieving both BAU and long term strategic goals whilst overseeing delivery of relevant KPIs

Talent Acquisition Expertise
- Utilise labour market trends and insights to drive the sourcing & hiring channel strategy; adjusting hiring initiatives to ensure the delivery model achieves business outcomes and remains commercially agile
- Influence, shape and promote “best practice”, champion diversity & inclusion and develop strategy and tactics to establish Barclays as an employer of choice
- Ensure policy, standards and governance is a fundamental part of the strategy and execution plan
