**Regional Facilities Manager - Competitive Salary plus company car**

**Location**:Field based - South West (plus interim cover for Central England)

**Work pattern**: 5 days per week (42 hours) - flexible working available

**About The Vacancy**:
This is a specialist role. The key purpose of this role is to deliver a safe, legally compliant and well-maintained store portfolio across the region. Post identification of the need for works you will be responsible for Specification, Supplier Selection,Cost Validation, On-Site Implementation, Completion, and Formal signoff of all works as being legislative and specification complaint.
- Key tasks:_

As part of a cohesive national team you will:

- Manage all the works (improvement, repair or dilapidations) to the store portfolio in my region to ensure appropriate customer needs
- Ensure delivery using the third parties that are legal and legislatively compliant, and that effectively and efficiently fit in within our allocated budget profile
- Quality check delivery of suppliers work to ensure its consistently meeting the standards we set for our customers to expect
- Strive to delivery best value return on every investment MRG makes in trading store portfolio
- Maintain and comply with statutory, legal and Company requirements with regards to policies and procedures

**To Be Successful, You Will Need**:

- To manage multiple works orders at the same time and provide updates on progress for the region
- Able to prioritise works based on risk and importance to accommodate our limited budget
- Able to manage strict/limited budgets
- Communicate on a high level to all level of stakeholders and managing business expectations
- Not be afraid to challenge/question stakeholders on importance of works and cost of works
- Have an enthusiasm for wanting to make a difference to the environment
- To demonstrate a common sense approach
- A current full UK driving license
