We are seeking to recruit experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across Primary schools in Cardiff. The schools support learners in both Key Stage 1 and Key stage 2 and as a result we are looking for Teaching Assistants in or around Cardiff who are experienced in these roles.

**Overview**:

- Title: Teaching Assistant*
- Pay: £69.20 per day minimum*
- Location: Cardiff*
- Hours: Ad Hoc, Short Term and Long Term - Monday to Friday 830am - 330pm*

**The role: What you’ll be doing as a Teaching Assistant**

Supporting and supervising educational games, sports and craft activities Helping children with their reading
- Preparing the classroom for a lesson
- Working with pupils in small groups/ and or working 1:1 with children with additional needs
- Support the class teacher in the delivery of the lessons
- Assist pupils at break time with their lunch

Engage pupils in the classroom and out of classroom activities Work in accordance to the schools behaviour management policies

At least 3 months experience of working with children in schools, nurseries or childcare settings - experience within an SEN setting would be beneficial Registration with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
- References covering the last two years (no gaps)
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
- The right to work in the UK
