Commercial Account Handler

**The Role**:
**Salary : £22,000 to £26,000 (dependant on experience) plus bonus scheme**
**Full Time**
**Permanent Contract**
**Location: Bury**
**Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm with 1 hour lunch**

**About the Role**

As a rapidly expanding agency, we have created an exciting opportunity for a driven, self-motivated individual who thrives on achieving targets and working with a dynamic proactive team. We have seen strong growth in commercial business in recent years and will continue to build on this.

You will be a confident professional with the ability to consistently identify and convert potential new opportunities and will relish the challenge to drive the growth of a truly customer-focused local business.

**Duties / responsibilities**:

- Prepare customer files prior to a renewal visit, process changes on behalf of agents and issue compliance documents in a required timeframe.
- Submit fact finds to, and liaise with, underwriters for new business quotations.
- Provide all types of insurance quotations for new and existing customers over the telephone and face to face in the office.
- Review and amend all types of insurance policies for new and existing customers.
- Undertake internal checks of policies sold and administered by the agency under the Training and Competency scheme.
- Plan, co-ordinate and complete sales activities within the office.
- Oversight of agency accounts system to review upcoming and outstanding premiums

**About You**:

- Someone who can demonstrate the drive, energy and enthusiasm required to provide a fantastic customer experience to our existing and prospective clients.
- A proficient IT user with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude to problem solving; you enjoy working in a customer support and sales environment.
- You embrace meeting compliance requirements; a meticulous eye for detail is essential.
- Minimum of GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
- The ability to learn new systems, products, processes and skills.
