**Personal Assistant/Carer Position - One 2 One Support**

A valid and clean UK driving licence is essential.

We seek a quiet, composed and well balanced person to support a bright and polite chap in his 30s, with a physical disability who relies on his wheelchair.

**Job Details: Flexible, with the option of 11-13 hours per week available.**
- Tuesdays and Thursdays - From 9:15 AM until 14:45 PM
- **(Each of these days provides 5.5 hours and 11 hours per week)**:

- Tuesdays and Thursdays - From 9:00 AM until 15:30 PM.
- **(Each of these days provides 6.5 hours and 13 hours per week)**:

- Annual leave cover also available.

This is a unique opportunity for mothers looking to balance their childcare duties while ensuring that the service user’s needs and interests are met.

Flexibility that fits with nursery and school hours allows a balance of work and family life, with the option of a temp-to-perm post at a competitive hourly rate.

The duties are performed in a clean safe property where the service user lives with his mother, while his primary carer provides her support at different times.

**Responsibilities**:

- Transport the service user in his adapted automatic wheelchair vehicle.
- Assist the individual in enjoying exciting daily outings of his preference.
- Accompany to occasional appointments.
- Assist with basic domestic duties and everyday activities.
- Personal care includes basic toileting, bathing and dressing.

**Requirements**:

- Willingness to undergo a DBS check.
- A valid, clean manual UK driving licence.
- It is essential to be medically fit and safe to drive.
- Must demonstrate qualities such as professionalism, care, patience, courtesy, reliability, dedication, common sense, organisation skills, and practical decision-making.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temp to perm

Pay: £11.85-£12.15 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 13 per week
