A rare opportunity has opened at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust for a Clinical Practice Placement facilitator / Assistant Head of Clinical Education.
The post holder will lead on the development of a quality assured education process for all clinical placements and experiences for pre-registration nursing students assigned to DGT. This will include the acute Trust and external organisations such as Mental Health Trusts and private sector organisations. This role will involve negotiating capacity and local agreements whilst collaborating around reciprocal offerings.
The successful applicant will be accountable for the development of education programmes to support the implementation of:
- Professional Education and a practice development culture
- Ensure the capacity of pre-registration practice placements
- Ensure the learning environments meet the quality assurance defined by Health Education England.
You will be required to work in collaboration with Higher Education Institutes (HEI's), Health Education England and clinical areas within the Trust to ensure experiences for students provide high quality learning opportunities that enable them to meet the required skills and knowledge in practice
