**Duties**:

- Meeting and greeting customers
- Serving customers
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen tasks as required.
- Uphold culinary standards and ensure food safety regulations are followed.
- Operating cash registers and receive payments from customers in cash or by credit card.
- Maintaining the working area and kitchen clean and tidy at all times
- Handling orders from our click and collect/ delivery system.
- Answering the phone and taking orders.
- Keeping a good and positive relation with customers.
- Manage time efficiently to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Cutting kebabs and serving customers
- Cooking kebabs and other menu item on the grill.
- Maintaining high standards of the food hygiene and following the rules of health and safety,
- Understanding all aspects of the business both back and front of house.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a fish and chip shop or any other restaurant/ takeaway is a MUST.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation and kitchen procedures is desirable.
- Understanding of food safety regulations.
- Strong communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with team members.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: Up to £11.50 per hour
