**Job Role & Function Requirements**

Handle all debt management activities for the Onebright Efficacy business, liaising with debtors and ensuring effective debt collection. Assist with the processing of payments associated with member contributions and ensuring that outstanding debts associatedwith these are effectively managed.Work with the Billing lead, to ensure DNA charges are effectively recovered from clients.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Manage the detailed debtors listing and have credit control processes embedded to manage all client debt
- Own the Axa debtor account and ensure processes are in place to identify and collect all member contributions in a timely manner
- Embed monthly review processes, including the management of monthly debtor review processes within Finance
- Update and present the monthly Efficacy debtor dashboard to management and provide insight into the movements in the monthly debt balances
- Deal with associated queries to facilitate timely payment
- Identify and escalate disputed accounts and define resolutions
- Liaise with customers and internal staff to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
- Setting up new customer accounts ensuring all information is present and correct
- Reconcile remittance advices against client accounts
- Producing and distributing monthly statements to clients where necessary
- Maintaining excellent customer relationships at all times

**Qualifications/Experience/Competencies**
- Effective communicator, ability to manage difficult conversations with clients
- Experience of working in fast-paced Finance team, with focus on debt management is essential
- Ability to work within a team, understand processes & work proactively is essential
- IT literate with intermediate experience of Excel (Pivot Tables, V Lookups)
- Confident, articulate and adept in obtaining information
- Organised/methodical in approach to work and able to prioritise appropriately
- A robust approach to relationships and interactions with colleagues
- A capable team player appreciating the importance of team goals
- A proven focus on improving effectiveness and efficiency of processes
- Positive attitude even during pressurised periods within the finance department
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure and meet critical deadlines
