The Credit Protection Association is a long established West London (Hammersmith) based organisation seeking a Part time Mail Room Operative.

Established in 1914, our well-known and respected UK company provides a specialist B2B service throughout the country from our office in Hammersmith, where our head office team of approximately 25 have been based since the early eighties.

We are looking for someone to work 4 hours a day, preferably from 11am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, on a permanent basis to manage the printing and posting of physical mail.

Core responsibilities will include: -- operating systems and printers to prepare daily batches of letters for posting,
- operating machinery used to fold letters into envelopes,
- preparing letters for postal collection by Royal Mail and other mail solutions providers,
- dealing with other ancillary post produced by the company
- operating the franking machine
- maintaining supplies and keeping franking machine supplies and credits topped up
- keeping records
- liaising with mail solutions provider and engineers who maintain equipment.
- taking occasional special items to the post office
- other occasional ancillary duties
- Have good numeracy and attention to detail.
- Basic Knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Be self-motivated and able to work independently with a minimum amount of supervision.
