Teaching Personnel have been approached by specialist provision in the Blackburn area who are in need of a Maths Specialist Teacher to join their team for the next academic year. The school cater for predominately male pupils aged 11-16 who have social,emotional and mental health difficulties and can display challenging behaviours. All pupils follow the national curriculum which has been suitably adapted to meet the needs of each pupil. Every pupil who attends this school has an EHCP which must be adheredto.

The school require a KS3 Teacher to teach GSCE Maths across KS3 and KS4. As a Teacher in this provision you will need to display strong behaviour management practices and engage all pupils in your class. You must be able to differentiate lesson plans tosuit the pupils ECHP and also liaise with all support staff to ensure a whole support network is in place for all pupils.

Naturally, you will take responsibility for implementing school policies and practices, including those relating to safeguarding and equality of opportunity and will be expected to work in partnership with all school staff, parents, carers and other agenciesin providing for the academic, spiritual, moral, social, emotional and cultural well-being of students and their families.

**Next steps:
Last year, the school had an influx of children requiring SEN support staff and so a number of teaching assistants were taken on through Teaching Personnel. Three of the staff members secured a permanent contract with the school and have commented on howwell they have settled in.
