**Job Description**:
Joining our team of care assistants in the Leek area, gives you the opportunity to become an excellent care professional. You have the support of your own coach who will help you navigate your journey with us and help you to provide care and support to your clients.

Full training is provided in your first week, followed by regular ongoing support and coaching. This will help you build your confidence in what you are doing to become a great care professional. In a short space of time you will be providing the highest quality of care for your clients.

Being part of our care professional team means you will provide a combination of personal care, home help and companionship to our clients, helping them to continue to live an independent life.

All our visits with your assigned clients are a minimum of one hour giving you ample time to form good strong relationships and really get to know your clients well, enabling you to provide the best care possible for them.

You will be working varied shifts, depending on your commitment. You can choose a contract for set hours per week, or a zero hours contract, you can work full time or part time.

Your pay is from £10.75 per hour, this increases if you have got certain qualifications. You will receive an allowance for travel time between calls aa well as mileage allowance. Your annual leave entitlement is 28 day per year which is pro-rota to your weekly hours.

The shifts you will be expected to work consist of early mornings or evenings or both, which includes having alternate weekends off. You will be travelling between calls so a good means of transport is essential.

**Qualifications**:
You can become a care professional without qualification, but you will be expected to undertake certain qualifications in your first year such as, the Care Certificate and our award winning Alzheimer's training which is accredited with City and Guilds
