Assistant Renewables Engineer

Assistant Engineer required for an ambitious renewable developer's Glasgow office with flexible working. Within the role, you will support the development and delivery of various renewable energy projects including onshore wind and solar alongside the seniorteam. This will involve a range of engineering activities including grid connection feasibility studies, site design and energy production estimates whilst contributing to broader development strategy. Experience in the renewable energy sector highly beneficial.

Package: 30k negotiable, depending on experience. Pension, bonus, healthcare.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Grid connection feasibility studies to determine potential grid connection locations for renewable energy projects
- Liaison with Distribution System Operators (DSO) and Transmission System Operators (TSO) to acquire grid connection agreements
- Carry out initial site design using various software including AutoCAD
- Produce energy production estimates using PVSyst and other relevant software

**Skills and experience**:

- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification
- 1 years' experience within the renewable energy or similar sector
- Knowledge of grid connection process
- Competency using software such as MS Excel, AutoCAD & PVSyst
