We are seeking an enthusiastic Intern/Volunteer to join our team and gain valuable experience in accounting practices.

As a Trainee Bookkeeper, you will work closely with our experienced accounting team and gain practical experience in various aspects of bookkeeping and financial management. This position is ideal for students or recent graduates who is looking for Internship or Placement to build their skills and gain valuable workplace experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and bookkeeping systems.
- Enter financial transactions into the accounting software.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable/receivable.
- Prepare invoices and process payments.
- Assist with payroll processing and expense reporting.
- Help with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Support the accounting team with administrative tasks as needed.
- Learn and adhere to financial regulations and standards.

**Requirements**:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage 50, VT) is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
