Job Description: Patient Booking Administrator

Location: Central Sheffield (Hybrid: NHS Hospital & Remote Working)

Hours: Flexible, 32 to 37.5 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

**About the Role**:
We are seeking a motivated and organized Patient Booking Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring smooth clinic operations by efficiently contacting and scheduling NHS patients for appointments. You will work to achieve productivity targets and benefit from incentives for exceeding expectations. The position offers flexible working arrangements, with the ability to work from both home and our NHS hospital location in Central Sheffield.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Database Management: Accurately update patient information and appointment details in NHS booking systems.
- Productivity & Targets: Meet and strive to exceed set productivity targets for patient bookings while maintaining high-quality interactions.
- Patient Communication: Provide clear and empathetic communication to ensure patients understand their appointments and any relevant instructions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with clinic staff, medical professionals, and the administrative team to ensure schedules are optimized and patient needs are met.
- Reporting: Track and report on booking performance metrics as required.

**Requirements**:

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
- Ability to work effectively under productivity targets.
- A flexible approach to working hours and environments (home and Central Sheffield hospital site).
- Experience in a similar administrative or patient-facing role (preferred but not essential).

Pay: £22,736.00-£23,684.00 per year

Expected hours: 32 per week

Additional pay:

**Experience**:

- Patient administration: 1 year (preferred)
- Patient admin: 1 year (preferred)
