Accounts Assistant

The role will include the following key duties but will vary from time to time:
- Ensuring monthly rents are received and bad debts flagged
- Maintaining purchase / sales / nominal ledgers and cashbook in sage
- Processing payment runs in line with budgets ensuring supplier bank account details are verified before setting up payment runs to prevent fraudulent payments
- Producing monthly MI reporting to track budget variances
- Cashflow management including forecasting
- Oversee recording of Buy to let facility
- Assisting Finance team with VAT returns
- Assist with collating credit card expenses and ensuring users are keeping suitable records
- Provide ad-hoc assistance to the finance team as and when required
**Salary**: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bournemouth, BH2 5EJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Accounting: 2 years (preferred)
