Michael Page are delighted to be supporting a leading Manchester based business recruit a Head of Product Ownership.

**Description**

Reporting into the CTO, this is an exciting new opportunity where you will be responsible for leading, coaching, developing and building a high-performing team of product owners who are capable of understanding and delivering on the technology vision andstrategy, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
As Head of Product Ownership, you will be instrumental in the execution of the Product Ownership strategy across Digital including product roadmaps, prioritisation practices of the product backlog, key agile principles/practices including User Story Mapping,Epic & Feature Hierarchies, Feature Injection, User Story Writing, Pivoting (MVPs) and Prototyping.
You will be a key member of the SLT and you will have experience of working with senior leaders, stakeholders and third parties to drive the agile Product Ownership approach across technology ensuring best practice adoption and champion the agile frameworks(Scrum, Kanban and SAFe) within the team.
In addition, you will be an SME who can remove blockers, solve problems and make decisions for their teams while also defining and executing the strategy for their discipline.

**Profile**

Experience required:

- Previous experience of building and leading Product Owner teams
- Exceptional communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills and stakeholder management experience
- Excels at working with people and developing teams (coaching, training, facilitating and collaborating)
- Detailed knowledge/experience of their product suite. Able to work under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines and quickly update stakeholders on impact (potential or actual) to the defined delivery timecales
- Strong influencing skills and ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, clearly and concisely
- Knowledge and experience of implementing a product delivery framework with technology scrum teams.
- Strong commercial awareness and prioritisation skills with product management experience and act as a SME leader and role model within the delivery community
- Product Owner Certification is desirable
