**About**the role**

As a Kitchen Assistant at MHA, you will be part of a dedicated team who prepare and serve meals for residents and staff.

Duties will be varied and include basic cooking and cleaning along with respect for older people. Every day will be different, and you will have the opportunity to use your skills to make a real difference.

This welcoming, thoughtfully designed home fosters a warm, safe, and supportive environment, with every detail crafted to promote residents independence and dignity. Our dedicated team delivers personalised care around the clock, focusing on each residents unique needs and preferences.

Our Activity Coordinator creates a varied programme that includes arts and crafts, flower arranging, bingo, and quizzes, encouraging residents to enjoy familiar hobbies or explore new ones. A dedicated Chaplain is available for pastoral care, offering comfort and companionship for all faiths.

**About you**

The right values, attitude and behaviours are more important than your previous career background. Therefore, whilst previous experience is desirable, your respect for older people and willingness to undertake training is more important.

You do not need any qualifications to get started as a Kitchen Assistant. You will have a kind, warm and caring nature and be able to work well as part of a team but also use your own initiative.
