**The Role**

At Greene King we are looking for an Innovation Lead to join our newly formed Innovation team and help drive sustainable growth and future proofing of the Greene King business. Joining Greene King at an exciting time of transformation, innovation here will include not only new pub propositions, but also new ideas, methods, sales channels, and ways of doing things in pub. This field based role reports to the Brand Director and would suit a creatively minded collaborator who can bring together cross-functional teams to deliver innovative concepts.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible for development and growth through compelling brand propositions suitable for the target audiences
- Work with Brand Directors across the business to identify key white spae opportunities and develop new, innovative pub brand concepts to drive sustainable growth through new brand offerings
- Develop all elements of the proposition, creating the frameworks from which the Divisional Marketing teams can trade and evolve the offer on an on-going basis
- Ensure propositions include but are not limited to core offer (food, drink, entertainment, service and atmosphere) standards/ parameters, customer journey(s), design and environment, pricing strategy, people and service proposition
- Use disciplined project leadership to quickly get great results from cross-functional teams made up of Property, Finance, Divisional Teams and Food/Beverage experts
- As the function grows, lead and motivate others to deliver innovation projects across the business

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in an innovation focused role from within a large company including the delivery of end-to-end innovation projects. Experience from the hospitality sector would be helpful but is not essential. In addition to your experience, you will demonstrate the following skills:

- Excellent relationship building skills across all levels
- Leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver
- A creative and curious mindset with the ability to challenge the way things are done and identify opportunities to improve
