Bookkeeper in the Lisburn Area **“An amazing opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a local business in the Lisburn area, this role would be perfect for an experienced accounts professional looking to take the next step in their career"** **About the Company** The company is a large family owned business who operates with a large client base in Northern Ireland" **About the Job** - Maintain purchase ledger on SAGE - Maintain sales ledger on SAGE - Maintain nominal ledger on SAGE - Petty cash management and reconciliation - Manage company credit card statements (including collection of VAT receipts) - Process employee time sheets and payroll related information dealing with expenses payments - Taking responsibility for all aspects of credit control and chasing outstanding debt from customers - Liaising with customers/insurance companies to resolve invoicing queries - Address supplier queries and seek resolution of same in a timely manner - Assisting with VAT returns on a quarterly basis - Prepare financial reports as required by management - Monthly pre-payments and accruals **Skills and Experience** - Minimum of 5 GCSE's including maths and English Grades A*-C - Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within finance/ accountancy related position in an office environment - Sound working knowledge of SAGE 50 Accounts - Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (including Excel) - Effective communication skills - Excellent planning and organisational skills - Attention to detail - Work well as part of a team - Strong IT skills - Happy to talk flexible hours/ part time/ flexi For further information on this opportunity or if you are considering the next step in your career get in touch with Daryl Hunter at HireIQ in complete confidence, we would be delighted to assist. **Salary**: £25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Company pension - Flexitime - On-site parking Schedule: - Flexitime Ability to commute/relocate: - Hillsborough, County Down: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Work Location: In person Flextime
