Autism Support Teaching Assistant - Mainstream School

As an Autism Support Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), collaborating with the classroom teacher and other professionals to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students with Autism.
- Assist the classroom teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).

- Encourage student engagement and participation in classroom activities.
- Support students with social interactions and emotional regulation.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach.
- Ability to adapt and differentiate instruction to meet individual needs.
- A positive and proactive attitude towards supporting students' progress.
- Relevant qualifications or training in Autism support (desirable, but not essential).
