To work collaboratively in a team to manage and administer the day-to-day running of the BACP Course and Service Accreditation Schemes and related programmes of work. Taking responsibility for a large portfolio of accredited course and service providers and developing effective working relationships with them to ensure consistency and continuity of service.

Providing administrative support to the assessment and moderation processes. To lead on key areas of work and contribute to the development and maintenance of all course and service schemes and associated processes.

This role can be performed remotely, but we like to meet up for our 1 to 1's, training and team meetings and this will be especially important when you're new to role.

**Principle Accountabilities**
- To be responsible for the processes associated with the BACP Course and Service Accreditation Schemes, ensuring systems are efficient and effective and that standards are being maintained throughout each five-year accreditation term awarded.
- To provide support and guidance to applicants from initial enquiry through to completion, referring complex questions to the Lead Assessor or Team Supervisor where appropriate.
- To build effective working relationships with providers to encourage a continued positive relationship between them and BACP.
- To include regular opportunities to keep providers updated with information on developments, offering guidance on frequently asked questions and to inform on services pertinent to them i.e., e-newsletters, webinars, network meetings and site visits.
- To monitor income and expenditure for the schemes. To be responsible for following up all submission fees and outstanding payments & membership renewals when necessary.
- To work collaboratively with colleagues to manage portfolios of work and the promotion of course and service schemes, while also acting as lead for elements of the accreditation schemes and associated administrative processes.
- To support the review and development of existing and new accreditation schemes, to include providing feedback during development, creating documentation and guidance, and liaising with and providing timely updates to courses and services.

**Knowledge & Experience**
- Qualified to A level standard or equivalent
- Significant experience of working within a fast-moving administrative environment preferably with an understanding of academia and/or accreditation programmes.
- Ability to work alone, act on own initiative and prioritise workloads.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adapting to audience, with the ability to facilitate and present online events and webinars.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with a wide variety of people both internal and external to BACP.
- Ability to take on new tasks and absorb new information and skills whilst maintaining the constant flow of the accreditation process.
- Ability to keep accurate and up-to-date records in line with data protection requirements.
- Have a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to take ownership within project work, working across teams and providing regular feedback and updating reports.
- Open to taking on new challenges.
- Numerical and financial reporting skills, experience of using databases for member/customer records.
- Knowledge of the counselling profession (advantageous but not essential)
