This is a varied, interesting and crucial role which requires the possibility of working across services. You will be required to work shifts over a 7 day week, you may be required to cover sleep in duties, therefore we will want you to be flexible. In return we will offer you:

We know you are going to love positively engaging with service users during their stay, supporting with daily living skills following a person centred support plan. You will also be enabling our service users to express themselves to make choices and promote their independence. You will be required to attend team meetings and be available for training and competency assessment for your own development.
This role will not be without some challenges and we don’t shy away from that, so we are passionate about ensuring we recruit the right person to this role. Your commitment to safeguarding the welfare of the most vulnerable members of the community to enable them to lead fulfilling lives and achieve their full potential will be one of your strengths. In addition, your capacity to assess risks and look for solutions will play a key part of this role.

Qualified to level 2/3 in Health and Social care or equivalent (or working towards) or with practical experience acquired through a combination of training and working/volunteering in relevant area with clear understanding of applicable standards and regulations.
