Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 15:30, £11.90 per hour
- Compile a schedule of cleaning tasks, to be completed by Cleaning Operatives/Cleaning Supervisor.
- Supervision of Cleaning Operatives to ensure a high standard of general tidying which will include vacuuming, polishing, emptying of bins, replenishing supplies etc.
- Where necessary, assisting Cleaning Operatives to ensure completion of the work scheduled.
- Ensure adequate supervision of Cleaning Operatives to ensure that all tasks are carried out in a professional manner, following all “safe systems of work” and risk assessment directions.
- Check all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards.
- Wear the correct and appropriate PPE specified at all times.
- Comply with all statutory First Choice Facilities Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.
- Comply with all First Choice Facilities security regulations for cleaning materials, equipment and buildings.
- Provide high personal standards of work/performance, personal hygiene and appearance.
- Assist with any special duties requested, some of which may occur outside normal working hours.
- Assist and report any complaints/incidents relating to accidents, fire, theft or loss, damage or any other irregularities and take action if practicable.
- Ensure all requirements in relation to COSHH are adhered to, providing instruction to Cleaning Operatives as necessary.
- Ensure that any reported faults in cleaning machinery/equipment are escalated appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure that any reported building defects are escalated appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Carry out any reasonable request, as specified by the Cleaning Manager.
- Ensure safety signs are used appropriately at all times.
- Carry out weekly site inspections and complete inspection report
- Order stock for the designated area where applicable.
- Ensure that communication is constant.
- Attend all company meetings and training as requested.
- Undertake duties in line with company policies and procedures
- Report failures identified and implement corrective action

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Leeds, LS12 1BE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
