We are actively looking to secure an IT Project Manager to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

**The Role**
Our client is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to support delivering an infrastructure project.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Driving allocated I&C projects through to implementation, delivering to high quality standards within the agreed governance framework incorporating one or more time/cost/quality levers as appropriate.
- Manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies escalating appropriately to minimise impact to I&C at all times.
- Responsible for business and IT changes associated to Customer, Product, Process, Organisation, Location, Infrastructure, Data, Applications and Technology.
- Responsible for the set-up, management and delivery of the project and for overseeing activities on a day-to-day basis.
- Provides expert guidance to the project team to support the improved delivery of change.
- Develops and maintains project plans and schedules including formal initiation and closure of the assigned project. Planning assumptions are documented, stages of readiness as the project progresses are clear and communicated.
- Oversee the necessary commercial arrangements (work orders) required for third party providers and necessary approvals and governance.
- Define and agree budget, gain budget approval via company procedures, forecast, track and report costs and benefits to ensure delivery to approved budget, and clear visibility of forecast benefits. Formulate and seek approval for changes to the baselinewhen appropriate.
- Own and manage all relevant stakeholders of the project and keep them informed and engaged. Responsible for driving change; removing blockers to achieve an agreed outcome.
- Engage with I&C and/or other business users and delivery teams to influence stakeholder buy in. Be ready to articulate why we do change and the value this will bring to I&C. Secures the right resource to make the project a success.
- Effective project delivery against key performance indicators to time, cost and quality.
- Shape and influence future I&C business decisions by bringing together multiple strands of information and intelligence from across the business, deals with various degrees of ambiguity at times.
**Key Capabilities & Knowledge**
- Ability to build rationale and influence outcomes with senior stakeholders to reach decisions.
- Able to balance tactical and strategic business priorities and make appropriate recommendations.
- Ability to influence and make critical recommendations key stakeholders at discretionary levels across and throughout the organisation, generating understanding of complex issues, providing clarity and certainty in a complex and challenging environment.Must be able to assimilate information, understand, navigate and assess complex data, systems and processes.
- Sound financial knowledge, coupled with experience of budget formulation, management and control supported by sound analytical skills, capable of clearly identifying and solving problems proactively.
- Building productive, innovative and opportunity-rich relationships with internal, senior, enterprise-wide and 3rd party stakeholder to drive the development and delivery of change for I&C.
- Is able to spot trends and identify potential opportunities to realise value from those trends. Can tune into what is happening here and now and recognises that could be a reflection of a wider pattern. Helps our business grow through a continuous methodologymindset. Considers new ways of working through not always doing what has always been done. Desirable:
- Industry knowledge and experience or understanding of the structure and organisation of utilities and their core activities
**Essential Knowledge and Experience**
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience of project planning and management, and strategic change planning and monitoring, (supported by relevant qualifications) across multi delivery methodologies.
- System architecture knowledge and previous work on decommissioning projects.
