By becoming a Fundraising volunteer, you will play a crucial role in supporting various events, ranging from marathons and wild swimming to black-tie affairs. Your dedication and skills will contribute to delivering exceptional experiences for participants while also allowing you to enjoy a rewarding and fun volunteering experience. Moreover, you'll have the opportunity to meet new people and become part of a friendly, community-driven team that creates a significant positive impact.
**Your role**
- Engage with regular donors and potential supporters and explain the work of Dartmoor Zoo.
- Support our fundraising events both on and off site.
- Work with our Supporter and Partnerships Teams.
- Administration support

- Capable of taking independent action.
- Communicate enthusiastically and positively with potential supporters and donors and be a great ambassador and advocate for Dartmoor Zoo
- Build new interactions and relationships with members of the general public, staff, and volunteers of Dartmoor Zoo
- Work effectively as part of a team, with other staff and volunteers in the Fundraising team and beyond, to ensure we are all working towards the same goals.
