£80-90,000 + Car & Bonus
Network HR have partnered exclusively with a large Service business based across the UK for the hire of an experienced Head of Learning Delivery. The business are about to embark on a journey of significant economical change that will affect all areas. As theHead of Learning Delivery, you will be responsible for executing the L&D strategy and will work collaboratively with other Heads of to ensure that that the overall capability and capacity of the function is appropriate to deliver the immediate and long-termorganisation goals. Responsibilities will include:

- Deliver a high-quality training and competence function, ensuring the end-to-end process focusses on delivery outcomes and customer excellence throughout
- Manage and develop stakeholder relationships to understand and influence requirements in respect of training and competence related strategies
- Influence senior leaders and being able to clearly articulate value-add and performance levels across the function
- Ensure the organisation addresses key talent and critical capability gaps through talent and capability development or schemes solutions
- Identify emerging needs through lessons learned or regulatory/legislative changes and developing appropriate strategies to ensure safe and compliant delivery of operational activities
- Developing and strategically modelling demand and supply scenarios to influence and inform future recruitment and training strategies
- Managing the development, maintenance and review of training and assessment products required to develop and maintain operational competence
- Ensuring competency requirements are clearly defined and actively managed, highlighting risks and ensuring appropriate mitigation actions are put in place
- Monitoring performance of the outcomes of the training and assessment programmes and delivering continuous improvement
- Ensuring the effective coaching, mentoring, support, safeguarding and line management of Apprentices for the duration of their time on their training scheme
- Building a network with peers from other large organisations and scan the external market for best practice against which the organisation can benchmark its own frameworks, programmes and approaches to support continuous improvement
- Work with the other HR functional leads to oversee the effective partnering and working relationship between the team and the other HR business areas, ensuring clarity of accountabilities, creation of shared objectives and overseeing the implementation ofcentrally developed frameworks, tools and insights for the benefit of the organisation.
- Lead the team in delivering professional standards throughout all training programmes, assessments and other competency related activities
- Ensure that that the overall capability and capacity of the function is appropriate to deliver the immediate and long-term organisation goals
- Managing the budget and financial performance of the function. strong leadership, management and influencing/negotiating skills to build and maintain effective relationships with staff and management at all levels, both internally and across stakeholder groups
- up to and including Board level.
- Extensive experience of Mandatory/Technical skills training
- Experience of managing large teams and influencing virtually
- Familiar project/programme experience of significant change
- Excellent stakeholder management
