**Senior Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing**

**Senior Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing key roles and responsibilities**
- Support the delivery of the nursing curricula and the specialist mental health related modules
- Take responsibility for the design, content and delivery of specific areas of teaching and learning
- Contribute to the wider student experience through personal tutoring, classroom teaching and providing support in and outside the classroom
- Assist in student recruitment activities, including interviews, open days and external recruitment events
- The role may require cross-campus working

**To be successful in the **Senior Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing role you will**
- Be educated to Master’s level or evidence of level 7 study and will be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a registered Mental Health Nurse
- Have an excellent knowledge of contemporary mental health nursing practice
- Be willing to undertake a Post Graduate Certificate in Education if not already achieved. Have an awareness of teaching and learning methodologies, and demonstrate enthusiasm for innovative teaching and supporting the development of learners.
