** Position: Estates Caretaker**

**Location**: Westminster/Pimlico (static)

**Hours**: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm, 35 hours per week

**Hourly Rate**: £13.20 PAYE | £14.98 UMB rates including holiday pay

Are you an experienced caretaker or cleaner with excellent communication skills looking for a rewarding opportunity in social housing? We have an exciting opening for a caretaker to join our team at an established housing company managing thousands of homes across London.

**Responsibilities**:

- Communal cleaning: mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, litter picking, etc.
- Basic repairs/maintenance: changing door handles, handrails, replacing light bulbs
- Reporting any anti-social behavior
- Dealing with contractors
- Working to a schedule/rota for the bin stores, ensuring readiness for collection
- Clearing bin stores
- Ensuring health and safety on-site for yourself and residents

**Requirements**:

- Up to date DBS/CRB check within the last year (essential)
- Previous experience as a caretaker preferred but not essential
- Experience in cleaning and customer service preferred
- Good communication skills
- Health and safety conscious
- Must have a 'can do' attitude
