This post is an important part of our ongoing development of medical services at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust, offering the successful applicant the opportunity to work closely with the existing Pathology Consultants to provide a high standard of care across the Trust. We are seeking consultants with enthusiasm, commitment and drive to work closely with colleagues throughout the organisation and within the community to help lead the organisation.

This is a substantive appointment, based at Lister Hospital in Stevenage. The post comprises 10 programmed activities (PAs) and an on-call commitment.

This is an excellent opportunity within the Pathology department at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. The successful applicant will form part of the Trust’s pathology department and will be a part of a team of 8 consultants providing a comprehensive Cellular Pathology service. The department provides a comprehensive range of services for our resident population of approximately 500,000 residing mainly in East and North Hertfordshire and extends to the borders of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, West Hertfordshire and Essex.
