**Role**: Experienced Loading Shovel Operator **(Weekends)**

**Location**: Preston, Lancashire (PR2 5BX)

**Hours**:Saturday and Sunday 7:00am - 5.30pm

**Salary**: Above Minimum wage

We are looking to recruit an experienced Loading Shovel Operator to join our well established team in Preston.

**What you will be doing**:

- To push up material piles and move into bays as and when required.
- To load vehicles as and when required.
- Responsible for the daily checks and routine maintenance of the loading shovel including power washing when required.
- To work within and to adopt all H+S procedures that are in force at all the company’s depots.
- To inform management immediately of any defects that may cause any item of equipment to be either unsafe or not roadworthy.
- To keep the area you are working in clean and tidy and free from hazards.
- Any other duties as directed by Line Managers.
