SUMMARY:
**ESSENTIAL TASKS & DUTIES**:
Product Use Recommendations and Training
- Acts as a key contact for all technical sales inquiries prior to order placement.
- Provides technical support and documentation for quote generation.
- Assists Engineering and Service in the analysis of field product failures, the generation of data for related failure reports, and communication of failure analysis and recommendations to the customer.

Product Development
- Participates in overall product strategy and identification of customer requirements for new and emerging products.
- Develops and maintains a prioritized list of customer requirements for ongoing product/feature development consideration.
- Identifies partnering opportunities for the resale and/or development of complementary third-party products that will satisfy customer requirements.

Customer Interaction
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key customers.
- Participates in key sales situations for the product and provides product demonstrations, as required.
- Maintains communications and contacts to collect and analyze operational and technical information.

***Operations Support
- Support manufacturing in the execution of complex Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for bespoke product design, as needed.
- Support the documentation team with technical content to produce customer documentation.

Other Responsibilities
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Organizes work areas for efficiency and safety.
- Provide status reports to management, as required.
- Respond to change productively and handle other duties, as required.
- Ability to travel. Customer visits will consist of both customer office and site visits.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Education & Experience:
Prefer Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Engineering, Chemistry, or other related field and two or more years of experience in the field; or in lieu of degree, 3rd level qualification with four or more years’ experience working with analytical instrumentation.
