Robertson Bell are proudly working with this not-for-profit organization in their search for an Accounts Receivable Leader to join their team on a permanent basis. Based in Essex, this role will be supervising a team of six Accounts Assistants, ensuringall accounts receivable processes are effective and efficient, providing support and guidance to the team.
**The main responsibilities of this position are**:
- To manage the accounts receivable team, providing strong visible leadership and coaching.
- Ensure all invoicing, income allocation and banking is completed in line with the organization’s financial regulations.
- Monitor the day-to-day delivery of services to maintain and improve quality, reviewing performance ensuring the team are performing well in line with expectations.
- Assist on the continuous training of the Accounts Assistants, including annual appraisals aiding the team’s professional development.
This role is an ideal opportunity for a finance professional experienced in Accounts Receivable who is looking for a step up, taking over the line management of a team, whilst also diversifying their skill set in a stimulating environment. Although thisrole is officially based out of the organization’s offices in Chelmsford, flexible working arrangements are on offer with up as little as two days a week in the office.
- Supervisory experience, whether this is line management, or supporting other team members.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with the wider team.
- Competency using excel, including v look ups, pivot tables and sumifs.
- A relevant finance qualification, although this is not essential if you have other relevant experience.
