Main Responsibilities
Your days will be rewarding and outcome-driven and include providing direct support to adults with a learning disability**.**

Main responsibilities include:

- Support service users in a person centred way with their assessed needs; this could include shopping, cleaning, budgeting, personal care.
- Be a key worker and lead on ensuring support plans and risk assessments are up to date.
- Provide personal care to service users in a sensitive and dignified manner.
- To administer and offer medication in accordance to the HRCG Care Group Medication Policy.

As this is a community role, it is essential that you have a **valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.**

Package Description
As an **Apprentice Support Worker**, you will complete a nationally recognised **Level 3 senior healthcare support worker qualification**, with diploma in healthcare awarded through City and Guilds. To support you in successfully completing your programme you’ll be given **monthly learning days with weekly study time to develop your knowledge and skills.**

A **dedicated assessor** who will support you in your journey and help you realise and achieve your career aspirations. A work mentor who works in your department to support you through your apprenticeship and settle you into your new role.
