I am partnering with a newly private equity backed energy business looking to strengthen their business partnering function. Currently operating with a lean finance team, their new CFO is looking to expand to keep up with the strong growth they’ve alreadyseen and are projecting for the next few years. For this role, it’s important that you’re interested in environmentalism and sustainability.

**The Role**:

- Running the monthly and annual budgeting processes, quarterly forecasting process, and monitoring and updating the business plan
- Business partnering with the senior management team, private equity investors and key clients to optimise financial performance
- Monitoring our working capital throughout to maximise efficiency
- Working with procurement team to maximise purchasing efficiency
- Creating various financial models from scratch to provide clarity around all financial information
- Running data analysis to provide insights into performance, implementing KPIs and targets for the various departments
- Continuous improvement of our Internal Control and Risk Management environment
- Act as a financial expert, assisting across the business on a wide range of projects

**The Requirements**:

- ACA/CA/ACCA qualified
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Passion for environmentalism and sustainability
- Knowledge of PowerBI desirable but not essential
- Previous experience working in a PE/ VC backed company is desirable but not essential
