**Job Title: Labourer**

**Responsible To: Service Delivery Manager**

**Summary of the Role**

As a tenant-led housing association it’s really important that all our colleagues engage with our communities, have a passion for community empowerment, promote CGA membership and act as an ambassador for CGA.

This role supports the smooth delivery of the investment, repairs and maintenance provision across our Asset Management team, working in accordance with relevant safety regulations and our departmental policies and procedures.

**Functional Responsibilities**
- To assist the Roofing Works Supervisor and External Works Technicians in the completion of all external works ordered.
- The collection and delivery of materials, plant and general waste from all contracts being worked on by Gateway Property Care.
- Providing assistance to trades to conform with any Health and Safety requirements in the execution of high-level works and other various routine repairs.
- Promote good quality customer care at all times and ensure an excellent service is provided to our customers
- Taking information off job outline tickets or by way of a PDA device.
- To ensure identification is always carried and produced in accordance with CGA policies and procedures.
- Maintain and replenish vehicle imprest stock. Collection and delivery of materials
- Co-operating with the managers or any other person to ensure that statutory requirements concerning Health and Safety are met.
- Be willing and able to carry out works in line with our evening and weekend appointment slots.
- To assist with regular Health and Safety inspections in the workplace.
- Not to interfere with recklessly or intentionally or misuse anything provided in the interests of Health and Safety.
- To carry out dynamic risk assessment prior to every job, identifying potential hazards and ensuring appropriate control measures.
- Any other duties as deemed necessary, if these duties are of a greater level of responsibility or skill of those required in the post then full training and appropriate supervision will be provided.
