**Deputy Manager** - £27,343- £30,077 per annum (Salaries vary depending on experiences)

**Hours** - 37 hours per week, Monday - Sunday, inclusive of bank holidays

**Department** - Adult Service Delivery

**Location** - Carramar/Thatcham

**What You’ll Be Doing**:
Carramar is 24 hours supported home to 10 residents with enduring mental health problems. The roles offer variety where every day is different whilst also giving a great sense of pride seeing the positive impact you can have on others.

**Overall job responsibility**:

- You are responsible for ensuring that the team provide individual and bespoke packages of personalised support that is tailored to the needs of each client.
- You will lead by example in line with the organisations policies and procedures and demonstrate your can-do approach with all tasks that you complete.
- You will ensure that KPI’s are met
- You will be responsible for the reporting and management of safeguarding, incidents and complaints within your service and ensure these are managed correctly.
- Manage supervisions for front line staff
- to support staff in their personal development, wellbeing and assessing of the care certificate standards and other qualifications.
- To support staff to manage their caseloads and support their clients. To work with individuals on complex needs cases in order to delivery recovery focused support to clients in the service.
- Manage the services budget while ensuring that staffing costs, welfare costs and additional expenditure is kept within budget. Ensure processes are in place for the team to complete day to day management of client monies, safe storage and accurate recordingof service cash.
- Comply with all Health and Safety measures to keep clients, visitors, colleagues and yourself safe by conducting regular checks within all areas and departments as required.

**Essential criteria**:

- GCSE’s in English and Maths (or equivalent
- Previous experience working within a mental health environment, and providing care for those clients.
- Experience of supporting team members in the achievement of the care certificate and associated duties of their role
- IT literate with experience using MS Office packages.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Ability to act calmly in a professional manner whilst dealing with unpredictable and challenging situations
