**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As a HR Advisor within the Shared Service Centre you be responsible for providing advice and covering all aspects of employee relations including disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, flexible working, reasonable adjustments, you will also be supportingthe HR Business Partner for your business area across a range of strategic activities. A key aspect of the role is you won't have a personal ER caseload to deal with which will give you a great exposure to the full breadth of the HR role.

Working to KPI’s and SLA’s, timely responses to cases are critical along with providing sound advice and a range of options to your customer to allow for a commercially focussed decision.

Whilst the role is hybrid, you will be expected to attend hearings and meetings with the business to fully support them in an advisory capacity and therefore attend meetings in the Head Office in Coventry if needed.

**THE PERSON**

The ideal person will:

- be experienced in providing employee relations advice to the business
- Have experience of managing disciplinary, grievance and sickness cases
- have sounds working knowledge of employment law
- have exceptional influencing and communication skills.
- be confident in challenging the current ways of working, driving innovation and diversity of thought.
- be resilient and tenacious whilst remaining customer focussed.
