The post holder will achieve this by providing effective front of house service and administrative support to the triage clinics. This will involve dealing with general queries from patients, either face to face, over the phone.
The Perinatal Parent Infant Mental Health Service (PPIMHS) provides assessment, treatment interventions and well-coordinated care pathways for parents and their babies experiencing serious emotional and/or mental ill health during the perinatal period. The service covers the four NELFT London Boroughs of Waltham Forest, Havering, Redbridge and Barking & Dagenham
The Perinatal/Parent-Infant Mental Health Service liaises closely with adult community recovery teams, home treatment teams, adult psychological services, primary care services and social services within the four boroughs. The clinical team is made up of three groups of clinicians: community clinicians (from different disciplines), psychotherapy/psychology clinicians, and medical clinicians (adult psychiatrists).
The post holder will work as an administrator providing effective front of house service and administrative support to the triage clinics. This will involve dealing with general queries from patients, either face to face, over the phone, as well as booking patient appointments and managing databases. Probationary Period
Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
High Cost Area Supplement - London
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,313 and a maximum payment of £5,436 per annum pro rata).

Diary management
Producing and sending clinic letters/documentation
Keeping spreadsheets and databases up to date
Reception cover
Taking telephone calls
Covering for the referrals coordinator on occasions including processing referrals and general admin tasks
Minute taking
Being a first aider and fire warden for the service
Please note this is not an exhaustive list and you may be required to undertake other additional general administration tasks
Please be aware that the service is working in a hybrid model of mixed home and office working and there will be an expectation of some work being done from an office base and some from home. Therefore the ability to travel within the NELFT London geographical footprint is essential
