You will be joining our new Security Advisory Business unit, a specialist organisation providing high

Using an in-depth technical understanding of the security portfolio and the complex threat landscape, you will deliver specific advisory packages to improve our reputation within an account or to influence the way a client procures security capability to develop the relationship and increase our opportunity.

You’ll be working on a range of projects where every day is different and there will be the opportunity to learn fast as you grow your security knowledge and build your credibility with clients. You could be a recent graduate with a cyber, engineering or computing background, or you may be looking to use your existing technical knowledge in a fast
- paced consultancy role. Either way you’ll be joining us at an exciting time - as we look to grow our team and strengthen our client relationships.

Location is flexible - ideally, we’d like you to be aligned to one of our security hubs in Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Ipswich, London or Manchester - but we are happy to discuss this with you too as we support hybrid/smart working in this role.

**You'll have the following responsibilities**
- Supports the development of bids and proposals for customers, working under supervision of a Specialist or Principal Security Advisor.
- Develops own knowledge and understanding of key security frameworks, able to articulate the benefits and challenges when delivering Consultancy of each to our customers.
- Supports Security Advisory Specialist or practice lead in the delivery of consultancy services to our customers.

**You'll have the following skills & experience**
- Good level of understanding of IT and Security concepts, with a passion for security and an ability to translate that understanding to real world scenarios.
- A knowledge of how security threats affect large enterprises and translate that into understandable narratives
- Good communication skills, able to articulate findings to stakeholders and clients, translating complex topics
- Inquisitive and curious, with the confidence to ask question questions which affirm understanding and help gain a picture of the situation or operation.
- Qualified to degree level, or relevant experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security environment
- Able to gain and maintain governmental clearance at SC or DV in the UK
