**About the role**

As a General Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our distribution centre. This is a hands-on, multi-skilled position where you’ll be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching products with accuracy and care. You’ll contribute to maintaining high standards of safety, organisation, and customer service while supporting continuous improvement across warehouse operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receive, check, and accurately record stock from both internal production and external suppliers.
- Safely store products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring accuracy and traceability through the
- Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders with precision, meeting performance and quality targets.
- Operate handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised working environment, adhering to health & safety standards at all times.
- Support cross-functional warehouse tasks, including stock counts, replenishment, and returns.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily operational targets and support team success.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting better ways of working and sharing ideas.
