Pharmacy Dispenser

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care. You will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to support patient needs and contribute to a safe and efficient pharmacy environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide excellent patient care by answering queries regarding medications and health-related concerns.
- Assist in medication administration under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions dispensed, including patient information and medication details.
- Ensure that the pharmacy is well-organised, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes through effective medication management.
- Participate in training and development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge in pharmacy practice.

**Skills**
- Strong background in patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
- Proficient in medication administration processes, ensuring accuracy and safety in dispensing practices.
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is advantageous, showcasing familiarity with pharmacy operations and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with patients and colleagues.

Pay: £22,880.00-£24,134.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Overtime
