Superb, permanent opportunity with a very well established and successful manufacturing company who are looking to recruit a Mechanical Assembly Operative to work at their head office within a busy and supportive team. The environment is totally secure as they have been established for over 60 years. A positive and enthusiastic approach to work and someone who can commit long term is also required There will also be career progression.

The role of Mechanical Operative is busy and you will work with a wide range of products and components. You will be given comprehensive training on the wide range of products and on
- going support will be provided. You will be based in a friendly team and the working environment is very positive. Some of the duties will include:

- Assembling components to create sub-assemblies
- Handling small components
- Fitting small amount of pre-made cables
- Testing range of different components - working to a high level of detail
- Completion of Test Certificates and Packing sheets
- Conducting some manual tasks
- You will be good with your hands with strong attention to detail
- Have a keen interest in either mechanical or electrical components
- Enjoy assembling components and keen to learn
- Strong work ethic - good time keeping, etc.
- No experience is necessary, but electrical or electronics experience and advantage
- Enjoy working in a team
- Desire to commit long term to the business
