We are offering a rare opportunity to gain a Level 3 Business Administration qualification whilst helping deliver an exciting new project with Watford’s business community. Watford Borough Council is soon to launch the Watford Business Pledge, encouraging businesses to act with greater social responsibility in the areas of local supply chains, local employment, good employment practices, supporting communities and environmental sustainability.
We are seeking a new team member to help us launch and deliver the Business Pledge.

Duties will include but not limited to;
- To provide support for the Watford Business Pledge initiative, working within the Watford Borough Council Economic Development team and also working with key partner organisations including Watford Chamber of Commerce and Watford Town Centre BID.
- Helping businesses sign up to the Business Pledge and understand what they need to do to progress around the five Pledge commitments.
- Administering the Watford LinkUp Platform and Maintaining the Knowledge Bank

Other Economic Development support activities as required

Alongside this, you will be able to study towards a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.

The contract duration is tailored to enable completion of the apprenticeship course.

**Desired Qualifications**
- Applicants must not already hold a level 3 Business Administration qualification or higher.
- English and maths GCSE C/4 or equivalent desirable but not essential.

**Future Progression**

**Training**
- Full training to be provided by the employer and KEITS at the place of employment.
- The applicant will be working towards and gain a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship
- The learner will be allocated an industry specific training consultant who will provide both remote and on site visits throughout the apprenticeship.
- The apprentice will work towards an End Point Assessment (EPA) at the end of their apprenticeship.
