Aramark UK, are currently recruiting a Cook to join our team working in RAF Grantown on Spey, PH26 3JL.

You will be responsible for managing production and food levels to ensure mínimal wastage and be supportive of new team members to support them with their learning procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.

**What do we offer**:

- This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, shift pattern 5 days over 7 including weekends. Shift patterns are 06:00 until 14:00 or 11:30 until 19:30, leaving your evenings free - a rarity when you work within culinary/hospitality.
- Hourly rate £11.99.

**A day in the life of a Cook**:

- Cooking and preparing food ready for breakfast, lunch and dinner services ensuring mínimal wastage. You will be cooking for training service personnel and clients.
- Working collaboratively as part of a team of chefs and acting as a trainer/ coach for new team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.
- Following recipe cards to prepare, cook and serve a range of meals.
- Assisting with deliveries and stock checks, placing food orders, and maintaining kitchen records.
- Monitoring and recording temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets, and serveries. Completing daily paperwork to cover due diligence.
- Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans.

**You will be set up for success if you have**:

- Relevant culinary qualification (706/1 or 706/2 or equivalent). We will also consider chef experience.
- Excellent team player and communicator.
- A driving licence is essential due to the location of the site.
